Meet Mike Ellington

Joseph “Mike” Ellington is an Arkansas attorney dedicated to providing practical, results-oriented legal services to individuals, families, and businesses throughout the Arkansas River Valley. As the founder of Ellington Law Firm, P.L.L.C., Mike brings a wealth of real-world experience and a deep commitment to helping clients navigate complex legal challenges with confidence and clarity.       Mike’s path to the legal profession was built on decades of leadership in business and education. Before opening his law practice, he served as General Manager of Mobley Concrete in Russellville, where he was and still is responsible for all aspects of the company’s operations — from quality control and financial planning to customer relations and strategic decision-making. That experience taught him how legal and business issues intersect in the real world, and it informs his ability to help clients resolve disputes efficiently and protect their investments.      His background also includes more than a decade in higher education as Lead Faculty and Area Chair for the University of Phoenix School of Business. In that role, he developed curriculum, trained instructors, and taught graduate and undergraduate courses in leadership, management, and finance. His years as an educator reflect his belief that informed clients make better decisions — a philosophy he carries into every case.      Mike earned his Juris Doctor from the William H. Bowen School of Law in Little Rock. He also holds a Master of Business Administration in eBusiness and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management/Information Systems from the University of Phoenix, along with completed coursework toward a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. Mike graduated from Culver Military Academy, a private secondary school in Northern Indiana, in 1993. His education and professional experience combine to give him a well-rounded, strategic perspective on the issues his clients face.       At Ellington Law Firm, P.L.L.C., Mike provides legal services in family law, construction law, real property law, estates and wills, criminal law, and business law.
